The Balkans Rally Tour starts and finishes in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We head down the stunningly beautiful Adriatic coast, with half-days to Split and Dubrovnik and a day off in Dubrovnik to ensure you have time to relax and enjoy the magnificent treasures of these historic cities. We stay in some of the finest hotels available and mix world-class driving roads and the occasional circuit test with outstanding views and heritage visits. Once we reach the south of Albania, we turn inland to amazing mountain scenery, all lakes, forests and hairpin bends as we nudge the Greek border before entering North Macedonia. Turning north, we follow little-known trails (always on tarmac) through glorious scenery and historic villages, back into Albania, then to Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia and back to Slovenia. We really get under the skin of these wonderful countries, meet the people and show you breathtaking sights that you just would not see on any other event - or holiday.
This event follows our well-proven and much-enjoyed fun competition formula. We provide a full set of detailed maps and a Route Book listing waypoints and passage controls: you plot the route on the maps and follow it. Special equipment is not required for the crew or the car; our mechanics will follow and aim to keep your car running sweetly. We will co-ordinate covered transport from Britain (at extra cost) for those who need it. Everything else (hotels, almost all meals, ferries) is included in the entry fee.
